Microsoft Office mobile suite eventually coming to all smartphones?

One of the biggest advantages of owning a Windows Phone, aside from the exchange support and security, is the mobile Office Suite. Microsoft has a great Office Suite on Windows Phone 6.5 and is bringing what looks to be an even better offering for Windows Phone 7. What is interesting is that it seems Microsoft is interested in getting its Microsoft Office products to other smartphone platforms such as Nokia. Here is a snippet of a description for a Job offering at Microsoft:

In addition to the current Windows Mobile 6.5 and upcoming WM7 clients, with the recently announced alliance between Microsoft and Nokia we are working to bring Office Mobile to hundreds of millions of Nokia smartphone owners, followed by other leading Smartphone platforms.”

If by other leading platforms Microsoft means, iOS, Android, WebOS and Blackberry OS, then please sign me up! Right now the best office experience you can get is from either Docs2Go or Quick Office. Both of which are fantastic, but to have an official offering from Microsoft would be nothing short of amazing. Microsoft just needs to make the official announcement and let us know when its coming so we can tell our readers if they should hold off on buying Docs2Go or Quick Office.
