iOS 4.1 beta 1 now being seeded to developers

Well well well… what have we here? It looks like Apple is sending out a very speedy release of iOS 4.1 to developers as we speak. There is no change log to speak of so we don’t know what exactly has been fixed. We assume this is closely related to Apple’s new adoption of AT&T’s formula for displaying signal strength. Will this fix the proximity sensor? It may also help mask the iPhone reception problem with the antenna (which is hardware related), as well as other bugs people have been having. Before we say exactly what it does do we will of course wait until we hear more.
