HTC Droid Eris has less customer complaints about signal than Apple and the iPhone

HTC hasn’t come right out and responded to the mess that is the iPhone 4 antenna. HTC is holding their breath unlike RIM and Nokia. However, instead of coming right out and defending their HTC Droid Eris, which is not even for sale anymore, HTC gave Pocket-Lint some hard numbers. According to Pocket-Lint, HTC said that the percentage of customers who had a complaint about the HTC Droid Eris related to the reception was as low as 0.016%. This compared to Apple’s already 0.55% in just 3 weeks is quite a dramatic difference. Now these numbers really don’t mean a whole lot because there are so many variables, it was interesting that HTC had this to say. Still waiting on something more offensive from HTC, Motorola, and whoever else wants to jump in.

HTC can’t respond. it would be the kettle calling the pot black.

the reception on the HTC Hero is terrible, and the customer services at htc are even worse.

I’m no fan of apple, but after the way HTC have treated me, I’m no fan of them either.
