Saudi Arabia joins UAE in blocking Blackberry services

Looks like UAE aren’t the only ones planning on blocking Blackberry services because Saudi Arabia has joined the fun to they too want to block the service as soon as August 5th, 2010. The country’s Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), requested Saudi Telecom, Mobily, and Zain to suspend service to BlackBerry phones this Friday. RIM’s Middle Eastern clients are going to migrate over to other manufactures and services because service won’t be available any longer. What are customers going to use now? Who will be the next country to block RIM products?
