PayPal to hit Android Market soon?

According to a story on Bloomberg, EBay’s PayPal business is in talks with Google to allow direct in-app purchases. This would allow users of most Android based devices to make purchases of applications using PayPal’s familiar transaction interface.  Customers currently use credit cards to make app purchases. By allowing PayPal to develop the in-app payment, Google and EBay believes they can increase sales with PayPal as the transaction provider. Both Anuj Nayar, a PayPal spokesman, and Google spokeswoman Shari Yoder Doherty declined to comment.

One Response to PayPal to hit Android Market soon?

I don’t mind them adding new services but I’d rather have paysafecard instead of PayPal because it’s a safer way and there is nothing you can do wrong with a prepaid card. The risk that it’s getting hacked is minimal.
