Cruz Tablet and the Cruz Reader runs Android, has Flash 10.1, Micro SD and starts at $199

Velocity Micro are back on the scene with their newest incarnation of mobile tablet computing: the Cruz Tablet and the Cruz Reader.  both models sport 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with Android 2.1 under the hood and best of all: they support Flash 10.1. The best part of both of these tablets are not just the rough specs alone, its the price: the Cruz Tablet is expected drop at $299.99, while the Cruz Reader drop in at $199.99.

BestTabletReview reports that each model is powered by an 800MHz processor, standard SD card slot, basic Android apps – including browser and media player, an accelerometer, USB connectivity and a 3.5mm headphone socket, along with a user-replaceable battery, speaker and microphone.  The 7.5 x 5.6 x 0.6 inch Cruz Reader will be targeted, as the name suggests, at e-reader duties, with the “Cruz Market” app store for downloading software and ebooks. The Cruz Tablet throws in a 2-megapixel front-facing webcam together with a docking station that charges the slate as well as allowing it to work as a digital picture frame.  We can expect to see both at around summer 2010.
