Motorola Charm leaked and Motorola Flipout on AT&T?

Here is some good news for Android fans out there on a slow Sunday. Engadget received these pictures of new Motorola Android phone called the Motorola Charm. The phone is suppose to be out for T-Mobile and has a candybar style form factor. Read more of this post

Motorola Flipout packs Android due in June; has Nokia 7705 cousin

Now there are ‘borrowing’ from design and there are some blatant knockoffs. I’m not saying that the latest handset due to arrive for Motorola is a 2.8-inch display, 3.1-megapixel camera, 700MHz CPU and GPS functionality, running Android 2.1 and comes with Motorola’s own BLUR UI, but it looks an awful like the Nokia 7705 that you see below.

Now since the Motorola device is running Android, you can probably expect this rumored handset to take off with a certain crowd. But when you look at other companies that have pulled off KIRFs, you would see the Nukia 01, which my good friend tnkgrl mobile was able perform an unboxing on the KIRF and I got a chance to test the Nukia out.

Again, I am not saying that this is flat out design theft, because most cell phones take inspiration from each other – especially the higher end handsets. I’m just saying it looks a lot like the Nokia and Nukia. Go figure.
