Review: Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G in daily use

Sprint’s EVO 4G is the company’s first flagship Android 4G device. This is not the phone for those of you that are looking for a smaller device; you may just want to move along now. But for those of you ready to fork over your hard earned money for an Android handset, the EVO4G comes packed with pretty much everything imaginable: 1Ghz Qualcomm 8650 SnapDragon processor, 4.3″ LCD 480×800, 512MB RAM, 8 MP main camera capturing 720p video with another 1.3 MP front facing camera, 4G and 4G bands, FM Radio, TV out HDMI and a 1500mAh battery.  Arguably, we feel that this is still one of best phones on the market today; hence why Sprint can’t seem to keep them in stock. We tested this phone on a daily basis and I personally used it as my main line for an extensive period of time. Hit the break to read the entire review. Read more of this post

[Video] Blackberry 9670 shows off

The Blackberry 9670 was first leaked out in April with a couple photos and the reaction had a huge outcry. Blackberry enthusiasts did not know how to react and others just hated the design in general and while there had been one blurry video showing the phone, it really did not show much. Today Driphter has gotten their hands on a 9670 and is showing off everything from form factor and going in depth into OS 6.0 on the device. A lot of great info on both videos and personally I actually like the design and that RIM is taking different design steps with their devices. I am sure will we see more of this device in the coming months but for now enjoy the walkthrough.

Review: The Nexus One, does it compare to today’s top phones?

It is 2010 folks and the new phones are already coming out in droves. We have heard an official announcement that the HD 2 is coming to T-Mobile, the new Palm Pre/Pixi Plus hit Verizon at the end of this month, and the current star of the show, the ‘Nexus One’ from Google. On January 5th, just days before 2010’s CES, Google held a press event promoting their new baby. The Nexus One. There was so much hype generated prior to launch caused by Google’s decision to hand out the Nexus One to their employees. We saw tweets saying things like ‘iPhone on steroids’ and ‘Android beautified’. Do these statements hold true? Does the Nexus One live up to the hype? Let’s take a look.
